If you’re finding it really hard to use up a bottle of RDLF, this is a good way to do it! THe flavours of this Tequila are somewhat similar to Cognac or Bourbon, so it happens to work brilliantly in either an Old Fshioned or a Manhattan.
Glass: Old Fashioned
Garnish: Orange Twist
- 60ml Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia
- 5ml Agave Nectar
- 2 dashes angostura bitters
- 1 dash orange bitters
Place a 50p size piece of orange peel in the base of the glass and lightly muddle the bitters into it. Add 2 ice cubes and 1 shot of the Tequila, stir. Add more ice and the agave nectar, continue to stir. Add the rest of the Tequila and more ice, stir more and serve. IT should take around 3-5 minutes of stirring for the drink to be ready.
