White Lady

The first written appearance of this drink was in the original Savoy Cocktail book in 1930, written by Harry Craddock. It’s a little like a gin Margarita, but interestingly the balance has to be changed slightly from the ratios of this drink to work. Personally I don’t like it too sour, as it prohibits me from drinking more than one or two!

Glass: Martini/Coupe
Garnish: Lemon Zest

  • 35ml Tanqueray
  • 25ml Cointreau
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • ½ egg white

Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
