
The story goes that a talented Venecian bartender named Giuseppe Cipriani helped out a chap called Harry from Boston with some sticky money issues (borught about by his drinking habit). A couple of years later Harry returned to Venice much better off and paid back Cipriani five times what he borrowed telling him to set up a bar and call it ‘Harry’s’.
That’s not ‘Starbucks have purchased a Clover‘, no no no, they’ve just jumped straight in there and bought Clovers entire parent company, The Coffee Equipment Company.
For anyone unfamiliar with Clover, it is a coffee brewing system that has been hailed as the next big thing in brewed coffee due to its stability and customisable temperature, water and brew settings. Yes, that’s right, Starbucks now own it. [...]
If you fancy ‘chilling out’ somewhere *ice you could do a lot worse than this Siberian ice bar. It looks pretty cool to me and a little more functional than the yearly ‘Absolut ice bar’ in Lapland. Best move like a blizzard though, the bar will be snow more in only 60 days.
