
I’m back from Caffe Culture after some high and low points over the last few days.
High Point…
During the show I spent most of my time on the CMA stand demonstrating on the Plus 4 You. This is my first time demonstrating like this and on the whole it was very enjoyable chatting to people about espresso and espresso equipment.
This time next week I’ll be in London setting up for Caffe Culture which is taking place on May 21st & 22nd. Caffe Culture is probably the biggest event in the UK coffee calendar, seminars and workshops from the SCAE, stands from every major manufacturer of equipment, plenty of coffee to drink and lots of people to chat to. Not a week after I hand my notice in and Fifteen is picking up the gold award for Taste of England, thankyou very much, what a lovely tribute to my time here!

Just got back from an exhausting couple of days spent in two cities, both new to me.
On Saturday I drove through a Cornish blizzard (light snow storm) to Urban Beach Hotel in Bournemouth, I was doing training with Jimmy and his bartenders on the Monday but we met up a day before to travel down to Brighton together for the vodka leg of the Reserve Brands World Class Bartender competition.
THe bearded one wrote a good article for this months Café Culture Magazine covering his coffee history and competition preparation, I suggest you acquire a copy by all necessary means. Also found out that there was a news feature on the Eden coffee last month, if anyone has a copy hanging around i’d love to see it.
