I’m current curled up in my travelodge room in central London fighting off the makings of a cold as I prepare for a radio recording session this afternoon.

I’ll be heading over to the Smooth FM studios to do a feature on entertaining at home over Christmas. Fortunately this one isn’t live, I say this one, because I’ve got more radio to do tomorrow, some of which will be live.

The feature is going to cover what equipment you need to make cocktails, some easy drinks to put together, and I’ll also talk a little about food to match your cocktails and any tips and tricks. This is all fine, but they want me to make the drinks in the studio and it’s going to be recorded for the webcam.

Oooh… Honey and lemon lemsip is better then the regular lemon one…

I’m fairly well prepared, just hope I don’t throw a Smirnoff Black Collins all over the recording equipment!

As I said, this show is being pre-recorded; I would imagine it will be broadcast tomorrow. Smooth FM are based in London but they also broadcast through the midlands and up North, so listen if you can, I probably wont be able hear it myself.

UPDATE: Today I recorded for BBC Cornwall, Newcastle, Solent, Jersey and Swansea, as well as The Valleys FM, Wave FM, Viking FM. If you live in any of these areas, the feature should be broadcast in the next couple of days. I will post up exact dates and times when I can.
