UKBC Semi-Final Qualifiers
Steve Penk sent out a list of the qualifiers for the finals of UKBC which takes place 19th & 20th February. The list is below, it also shows the regional heats in which each qualifier competed. It’s good to see there’s a mix of all regions with Bristol standing out the most with 1/3 of all qualifiers, I can testify to the high standard of that heat. The North heat provides the least qualifiers with only Barry Lawrenson out of the 10 competitors scoring enough to make the cut.
Thankfully Hugo and I are on the list along with Clare Jarvis and Holly Jones from the South West Heat (go the SW!), which is good news indeed given all the preparation we’ve been doing. I guess inevitably there will be some competitors who will not be able to make it to the event, what with the costs competing and of a hotel, plus the unfortunate timing of Hotelympia in half-term. I’ll do an update of any changes to the list close to the event. The list does not represent rank or scores…
