Tristan if you get the chance next time try a ‘flat white’ or a capp. I found their milk was amazingly sweet and would be interested to find out if it’s always that way/what others think of it. Please remind us before your appearance on tv otherwise loads of us with dodgy memories will miss it :D

I wish i’d had time to have a milk drink as well but I was in such a rush and I gabled on the espresso! I’m sure i’ll be back up there soon so i’ll def go for a flat white, everyone else seemed to be ordering flat whites.

I can confirm that they use monmouth espresso and that there is a bit too much acidity in it for me. As cakey said its much nicer as a flat white. The acidity mellows with the sweet milk and is almost undetectable. I took my girlfriend there and she decided in here wisdom to have her first espresso…. such hilarity as she finds tea too strong for her.

I’ll keep an eye out for you in the new year.
