The Search is Over, Citrus Press
Whilst in Edinburgh we dropped in to The Cocktail Emporium (try the link, website was down earlier) on Broughton Street. It’s a good little shop with a large range of glassware, spirits and liqueurs and they were also doing gin tasting on the range of Seagram’s gins.
The real gem however came in the form of a citrus press. I can’t tell you how long I have been looking for a good quality citrus press, perhaps they are two-a-penny in the cities but in Cornwall they actually don’t exist, in fact I was worried it might vaporise when I crossed the border! Can’t wait to try it out, I was told that it is counterintuitive and that you should put the halved fruit in the opposite way to what you would think and the press will fold the fruit inside out… sounds cool.
